IO Partners with Console Connect to Provide Secure Interconnection for IO Data Center Customers

Phoenix, AZ – June 17, 2017 – IO, a global leader in scalable data center solutions, has partnered with Console Connect, a leading provider of global direct connect solutions. IO customers can now leverage the Console platform to extend private network connections to cloud providers, SaaS services and other enterprises from IO.Phoenix, IO.Scottsdale and IO.New Jersey, with additional markets to be added in the near future.

IO and its enterprise customers will now be able to experience the benefits of security and predictability with the addition of Console Connect’s interconnection platform. With increasing concerns over the risks of the public internet, including DDoS attacks, data breaches and unreliable connections, the Console platform gives users a peace of mind by allowing them to bypass the public internet entirely, establishing reliable and private direct connections with partners around the globe, all with a single click.

“Our partnership with Console provides a great benefit to IO’s customers,” stated Rick Crutchley, Chief Operating Officer at IO. “With a simple cross connect, our customers can quickly and easily connect from our innovative, world-class colocation data centers that support their internal technology stack. Console provides customers with access to major public cloud and SaaS providers, as well as many other Console points of presence. This is a more reliable and secure way of connecting to public clouds than using the public internet.”

In addition to enabling single-click interconnection, the Console platform also opens the gateway to an ecosystem of potential partners and vendors already using the platform. This creates new opportunities for partnerships and business development across any of Console Connect’s 170 global points of presence (PoPs) in more than 20 countries around the world.

“We are excited to welcome IO to our growing stable of data center partners,” said Jef Graham, CEO, Console Connect. “In addition to its high-quality facilities, scalable solutions and ‘customer-first’ culture, IO is now able to offer customers the ability to bypass the public internet for greater security and performance. That’s a critical differentiator in a market increasingly concerned by the threats of the public internet, and will allow IO’s enterprise customers to seamlessly interconnect their environments to partners and providers around the world.”
