Consolidated Communications Enters Netrality Properties’ Meet Me Room at 1301 Fannin in Houston

1301 Fannin, the rising carrier hotel and meet me room in Houston welcomes Consolidated Communications to its growing customer list

Houston, TX – (July 18, 2017) Netrality Properties, owner and operator of network-neutral carrier hotels and colocation facilities, announces Consolidated Communications, Inc. (CCI), a leading broadband and business communications provider, has established a Point of Presence (PoP) in Netrality’s meet me room (MMR) within 1301 Fannin in Houston. The new PoP provides direct fiber access to Consolidated’s Walker MMR at 811 Louisiana for Netrality’s clients, ranging from carrier to content, education, healthcare, enterprise and media companies. This access in turn creates additional capacity and new interconnection possibilities between existing networks within both MMRs, allowing customers to expand fiber connectivity and network reliability, while maintaining high quality performance.

“The optimal location and superior uptime offered by Netrality expands our carrier fiber hub to include access to Netrality’s data center assets while allowing us to provide carrier-grade services and access to all our customers in the Houston region,” says David Harral, General Manager of Carrier Services for Consolidated Communications. “We are excited about our evolving relationship with Netrality as we continue to expand our carrier cloud to meet the demands of the marketplace in the region.”

“Netrality is committed to making 1301 Fannin the marquee interconnection point in Houston,” says Chip Robertson, Director of Business Development at Netrality Properties for 1301 Fannin. “The addition of Consolidated adds significant value to our growing interconnection community and to all of our existing customers who connect to CCI’s extensive local and national network and services.”

As the demand for extensive, cost effective, distributed connectivity continues to increase, connectivity locations, such as 1301 Fannin, provide a platform for network operators to access direct, reliable and optimized services.
