Military Times names Windstream to its Best for Vets: Employers 2017 rankings
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Windstream (NYSE:WIN, news, filings), a leading provider of advanced network communications and technology solutions, has been named to the Best for Vets: Employers 2017 rankings by Military Times.
A valuable resource for veterans, the annual Military Times Best for Vets rankings are the result of a meticulous, months-long process. Military Times invites companies to fill out its nearly 100-question survey, tests to ensure the accuracy of responses, carefully evaluates survey data and includes only the best companies in its published rankings.
In their eighth year, the rankings evaluate companies’ culture, veteran recruiting, veteran policies, and accommodations for members of the National Guard and reserves.
“Windstream is honored to receive this recognition from Military Times,” said John Fletcher, chief human resources and legal officer. “We make a focused effort to recruit and support service members, veterans and their families because we respect their service to our country and recognize the value they bring to our organization.”
