Ericsson customers recognized for digital excellence

At TM Forum Live! 2017, two of Ericsson’s customers have been recognized for their excellence within digital business and innovation and where our OSS/BSS solutions have been at the heart of their success.

TM Forum Excellence Awards 2017

TM Forum Live! 2017, held May 15-18 in Nice, France, is the industry’s premier IT event focusing on strategy and innovation in driving digital business transformation. The TM Forum Excellence Awards seek to recognize service providers who have been leaders in this transformation.

In the category of ‘Smart Business Provider’, Verizon together with Ericsson have been honored with the ‘Business Transformation of the Year’ award. Verizon Enterprise Solutions has been working with Ericsson to provide a virtual services environment that enable the rapid launch of the new offerings to enterprises across the globe.

Another Ericsson customer, Reliance Jio, was recognized as the ‘Digital Service Innovator of the Year’ for their success as a fast-growing digital services company. Reliance Jio was able to reach the impressive milestone of 100 million subscribers in just 170 days. The deployment of Ericsson’s OSS stack, which is by far the largest deployment by any single operator anywhere in the world, has helped Reliance Jio offer a digital lifestyle to their growing base of customers.

As TM Forum Live! 2017 continues, Ericsson will hold a number of keynote and panel sessions that delve deeper into how service providers can prepare their business for the future. This includes a keynote presentation on May 16th by Ulf Ewaldsson, Group CTO & Head of Group Function Technology, on ‘The key to digital transformation’.
