Infrastructure to optimize speed and latency for the customer
BOULDER, Colo. – May 24, 2017 – Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ZAYO) has been selected by Eagle Brook Church for a metro dark fiber ring and dedicated internet access (DIA). The solution leverages existing Zayo network, requiring minimal build.

The ring will connect the church’s six locations and its corporate office and is expected to significantly improve performance and latency, critical for the church’s video streaming and broadcasts. The solution also includes DIA at every location to improve internet access and performance.

Many large churches have grown their congregations through satellite campuses, with the main campus broadcasting its service to all the satellite campuses and online. Increasingly, these multi-site churches operate as sophisticated businesses, using technology to advance their mission. Eagle Brook has a full video production studio and regularly broadcasts live services from its Lino Lakes location to five other campuses across the Twin Cities. High-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity for multi-site churches is essential to enable seamless live-stream broadcasts.

“Their previous service was underperforming, resulting in jitter and latency in their broadcasts,” said Jack Waters, CTO and president of Network Solutions at Zayo. ”Our solution will provide the performance and low latency Eagle Brook requires and will enable them to add connectivity to new locations in the future. Our network is also an excellent match for their current and future locations.”
