Windstream receives regulatory approvals for EarthLink merger, announces fourth-quarter, full-year 2016 earnings call
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Windstream Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:WIN, news, filings) announced today that it has received all state and federal regulatory approvals required for its merger with EarthLink Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: ELNK). Windstream and EarthLink will each hold special meetings of their respective stockholders on Feb. 24 in connection with the merger, which is expected to close in the first quarter of 2017, subject to customary closing conditions.
Windstream also announced that it will hold a conference call at 7:30 a.m. CST on March 1 to review the company’s fourth-quarter and full-year 2016 earnings results.
