Kansas City, MO (February 27, 2017) – USAC (Universal Service Administrative Company) recently announced the E-Rate funding application filing window for funding year 2017 will open on Monday, February 27, 2017 and close on Thursday, May 11, 2017.
The federal E-Rate fund provides discounts of up to 90 percent to help eligible schools and libraries in the United States obtain affordable telecommunications and internet access.
“Unite Private Networks (UPN) has been providing custom fiber network solutions for school districts since 1998, and are experts in the E-Rate program,” said Martin Mueller, Vice President of Strategic Accounts. “Our unique approach to custom network design will increase your bandwidth to speeds of one to over a hundred gigabits per second. UPN has been very successful in cooperating with school districts so they can take advantage of their E-rate funding to help build and fund their networks, and we are looking forward to continuing that tradition this cycle.”
