With this in mind, we asked around about shoppers’ plans this season.* Keep these tips in mind to keep up with the demand during this busy time.
- Wi-Fi or Bust: More than a third (38%) of respondents are not willing to go a day without Wi-Fi. TIP: Make sure the Wi-Fi is hooked up for your business so shoppers can log in as they browse. Also, make sure your password is in a place where shoppers can easily spot it.
- Wake Up Call: Nearly half (41%) of respondents connect to email when they first wake up in the morning. TIP: It might be a good idea to send those coupons and special promos via email overnight.
- Are You Ready to Check Out? Shopping online by computer (58%) is comparable to shopping in-store (61%) this holiday season. However, shopping online via tablet or smartphone makes up a combined 22%. TIP: Make sure your website is up-to-date and also mobile/tablet compatible to potentially reach more holiday shoppers.
