ADVA Optical Networking announced today that it achieved the largest quarter-over-quarter share gain on a rolling four-quarter basis in the data center interconnect (DCI) market, according to Ovum’s latest global market share report. The telecommunications vendor was also named number one in both the metro ICP/CNP DCI and enterprise DCI categories. For total sales of metro WDM DCI, ADVA Optical Networking’s increase in market share was more than twice as large as its nearest competitor. Ovum’s latest report highlights the success that the company achieved in the DCI space during the third quarter of 2016. Figures included show the compelling customer value of ADVA Optical Networking’s DCI technology, including its ADVA FSP 3000 CloudConnect™ solution.
