FloSports Launches New OTT Apps Powered by Cisco Infinite Video Platform

New Apps for Roku and Apple TV Platforms Offer Big Screen Experiences for Millions of Sports Fans

SAN JOSE, Calif., October 11, 2016 – FloSports, the leading direct-to-consumer, subscription-based sports media company, announced new free-to-download applications (apps) available on the Roku and Apple TV platforms that will give its customers more ways to watch its live events, VOD and a broad range of original video content from a variety of devices, across its network of sports web sites.

The new family of FloSports apps are powered by the Cisco® Infinite Video Platform, a cloud services platform for operators and broadcasters to process, secure, distribute and monetize premium video on any consumer device.

Covering a range of sports from track & field to fastpitch softball, FloSports is adding 2-4 new sports to its network each quarter. Recent launches include FloKO, an eSports site dedicated to fighting games, and FloMarching, which encompasses the world of competitive marching bands, drum corps, indoor marching and more.
