Over the past 15 years, Threadless has adapted at a rapid pace, redefining what it means to interact with customers through technology. They aren’t just selling T-shirts online—they work in partnership with an online community of artists. These artists submit their own designs, and if consumers like them, the designs get printed, and the artist gets paid—well. It’s a model that the Harvard Business School has used as a case study.
