Level 3 Announces New Vice President of Finance in Brazil

Isaac Berensztejn Will Focus on Accelerating Level 3’s Growth in the Country

SÃO PAULO, April 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Isaac Berensztejn joins Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT, news, filings) as the vice president of finance for Brazil, effective March 15. In this role, Berensztejn is leading all financial operations in the country and working  with the company’s leadership team to accelerate Level 3’s growth throughout the region. He is based in the São Paulo office.

With the selection of Berensztejn, a recognized industry leader, Level 3 reaffirms its commitment to market growth opportunities in the region. As a member of Brazil’s senior leadership team, Berensztejn reports to Facundo Castro, Level 3’s senior vice president of finance, Latin America.

Berensztejn brings more than 20 years of experience in finance, engineering and the telecom industry to the role. He has held senior leadership roles, including chief financial officer and board of director memberships for several national and multinational telecom companies. He holds an MBA from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Coppead/UFRJ).
