Interoute named Best Cloud Service Provider at the UK Cloud Awards 2016

The judges recognised Interoute’s clarity of vision, approach and design of its cloud infrastructure platform. Most service providers offer compute, storage and network connectivity to customer sites in a siloed way, whereas Interoute has from the outset taken a different approach. The company vision was to create a fully integrated cloud infrastructure platform (fully IaaS, integrating compute and storage with public and private networking) built into the fabric of one of Europe’s largest network and Data Centre infrastructures. To achieve this, Interoute virtualised the network, compute and storage, to create a single, integrated digital platform, the networked cloud.

The UK Cloud Awards, in their third year, celebrate innovation, entrepreneurialism and technical excellence in the UK cloud IT market. The awards showcase leading vendors, customers and individuals who are setting the benchmark for their peers.
