E-LAN Ethernet solution to connect core U.S. and U.K. locations
BOULDER, Colo. – April 11, 2016 – Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ZAYO) was selected by a global asset management company to provide an E-LAN Ethernet solution to connect its core locations in the United States and United Kingdom.
Leveraging Zayo’s 100GB transatlantic Ethernet network, the solution provides 10GB connectivity to connect eight of the company’s locations, including its headquarters, data centers and disaster recovery facilities. Zayo is also providing direct connects to two different third party cloud providers, one destination that is in the U.K. and the destination in the U.S.
The solution utilizes Zayo’s assets in multiple U.K. cities and across three U.S. states. Fiber from a combination of organic expansion and prior acquisitions, including legacy AboveNet and Geo Networks, is leveraged. Combined with Zayo’s international network, the customer has the flexibility to expand its bandwidth and add additional locations to accommodate its increasingly global needs.
