Sprint Invites Customers to Join ‘Across the Nation Celebration’ Sweepstakes

To celebrate the fastest LTE Network, Sprint teams up with Samsung for three weeks of amazing giveaways

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), March 18, 2016 – The Sprint (NYSE:S, news, filings) network really is faster. Plus it’s more reliable, with better coverage than ever. Sprint is celebrating by offering current customers an “Across the Nation Celebration” sweepstakes.

Through April 6, customers can visit the “Across the Nation Celebration” websitefor an opportunity to win a variety of Samsung1 prizes, including a new Samsung Galaxy S7 or the grand prize of a new Fiat® 500 and Samsung 65-inch SUHD curved TV.

New prizes will be announced each week. Customers can earn more chances to win by following @Sprint on Twitter and once per day tweeting a picture with the hashtag #SprintNationSweepstakes on where they’d take their new car. In RootMetrics’ second half 2015 special report “Mobile Network Performance in the US” Sprint increased its tally of State and Metro RootScore® Awards (outright or tied), offered strong call and data reliability in metro area testing, and improved its median download speeds in several metro markets.

In the second half of 2015 Sprint achieved a total of 212 first place (outright or shared) RootMetrics® RootScore Awards for overall, reliability, speed, data, call, or text network performance in 125 metro markets, compared to 135 awards in 2H14 and 27 awards in 1H14.2

In addition, Sprint’s analysis of Nielsen Mobile Performance Data shows the Sprint LTE and super-fast LTE Plus Network beat Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile by delivering faster download speeds.3
