32nd straight annual increase reflects strong cash flows, solid balance sheet
AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T, news, filings) announced today that its board of directors has approved a 2.1 percent increase in the company’s quarterly dividend.
AT&T’s quarterly dividend will increase from $0.47 to $0.48 per share. The annual dividend will increase from $1.88 to $1.92 per share.
“Our continued financial strength and outlook for strong cash flows give us the confidence to increase our dividend for the 32nd consecutive year,” said Randall Stephenson, chairman and CEO of AT&T.
The dividend will be payable on Feb. 1, 2016 to common stockholders of record on Jan. 8, 2016.
