Pleasanton, Calif. – December 16, 2015 – MegaPath, a leading provider of voice, data, security and cloud services in North America, today announced the appointment of David Williams as Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales, responsible for the strategic direction fo the company’s direct and indirect sales initiatives.
Rejoining MegaPath after previously heading up the company’s Wholesale and the Managed Services divisions, Williams has more than 20 years of telecom sales experience. In his new role, Williams will oversee all of the company’s sales and customer engagement efforts, empowering and aligning both partners and the direct sales force to best serve customer needs and drive revenue growth.

In his previous roles at MegaPath, Williams significantly grew revenue and exceeded targets. Prior to MegaPath, he was the GM of Covad’s Direct business where he oversaw SMB and Channel sales, as well as all aspects of marketing and product management for the company’s $150M commercial division.
