DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. Names Robert S. O’Keefe As Senior Vice President And Chief Marketing Officer

WASHINGTON, Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. (NYSE:DFT, news, filings) today announced that Robert S. O’Keefe has joined the DuPont Fabros Technology (DFT) executive team as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. In this role O’Keefe will oversee all of DFT’s marketing, communications, digital and brand management efforts focusing on key functions such as: product marketing, brand awareness, customer satisfaction, competitive intelligence, marketing strategy and demand generation activities. This includes the design and execution of all of DFT’s marketing programs, go-to-market strategies and brand planning.

Before joining DFT, O’Keefe was senior vice president of marketing, business management and business development at NTT America, a division of NTT Communications, which is a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (NTT) Corporation. At NTT America, O’Keefe was responsible for marketing, brand development, business management/analytics, channel and bid management for NTTA’s Global Enterprise Solutions business unit. His responsibilities included developing and executing business, strategic marketing and communications objectives, business development, and increased market leadership.

Prior to NTT America, O’Keefe was the vice president, global marketing (retail) for SanDisk Corp., a $6.6 billion memory technology company. In this role, he was responsible for global marketing and brand strategies, product management, marketing communications, and market/sales development. Before SanDisk, he was vice president of marketing for Frontier Communications, a $4.8 billion US telecommunications company where he was responsible for all consumer (B2C) and commercial business (B2B) marketing initiatives, product/service positioning, corporate branding, customer segmentation and communications. Previous to Frontier, O’Keefe was director, worldwide OEM marketing, product management and business development for Duracell batteries (formerly a division of P&G, now a part of Berkshire Hathaway).

O’Keefe earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in marketing/management from Clarkson University.
