Sprint President and CEO Marcelo Claure Named Vice Chairman of CTIA-The Wireless Association

One-year term begins Jan. 1, 2016

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), September 10, 2015 – Sprint President and CEO Marcelo Claure has been named vice chairman of the 2016 CTIA-The Wireless Association® board of directors.

Others among the slate of officers approved to serve a one-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2016, are Glenn Lurie, chairman (AT&T Mobility president and CEO); Jeff Miller, secretary (Motorola Mobility corporate vice president-Global Sales); Bret Comolli, treasurer (Asurion chairman); and Ron Smith, chairman emeritus (Bluegrass Cellular president and CEO).
