Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Emmanuel Sanders signs endorsement deal with CenturyLink

DENVER, July 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ —¬†CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE:CTL, news, filings) today announced that it has secured an endorsement deal with Emmanuel Sanders, a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos. The one-year contract will position Sanders as the spokesperson for CenturyLink’s marketing campaign in the Denver market that launches this fall.

Sanders will appear in local television and radio commercials as well as in online, print and social media promotions. The campaign, focused on the theme of Home Team. Home Connection.,will highlight CenturyLink’s 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) Internet service inDenver.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join forces with CenturyLink to create excitement with our fans for our upcoming Broncos season,” said Sanders.

To kick off the NFL season, CenturyLink and Sanders will connect fans to their hometown team. Starting Sept. 1, CenturyLink, with help from Sanders, will give away a pair of season tickets, an autographed jersey and home-game tickets through the Fast Dash promotion. Similar to last year’s Fast Dash with Broncos Cornerback Chris Harris, Jr., Sanders will post clues and instructions through Instagram (@emmanuelsanders) and Twitter (@ESanders_10), encouraging fans to be fast and creative with their answers.¬†Promotional dates run Sept.1-Oct. 6, 2015.

Sanders played for Southern Methodist University and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. In his debut as a Denver Bronco, he recorded six receptions for 77 yards in a win over the Indianapolis Colts. Sanders caught his first touchdown pass as a Bronco in a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 19, 2014. He played in the Pro Bowl following the 2014 season and was ranked #95 in the Top 100 NFL Players of 2015. Sanders is in his second season with the Denver Broncos.
