Strong sales performance of metro-fiber and cloud services sets new sales record
Atlanta – July 20, 2015 – Birch Communications, Inc., (“Birch”) a leading technology service provider of IP-based communications, broadband, cloud and IT-services to small, mid-sized, enterprise and wholesale businesses, announced today the results of its second quarter 2015 sales, which was the best three month sales period in the company’s history. Birch’s six diverse, efficient sales channels collectively achieved an overall sales increase of 112% compared to the same quarter last year.
The growth was fueled by record sales of advanced services and the onboarding of several new enterprise customers. In the first half of 2015, Birch continued its expansion of network and product features, announcing several enhancements to its cloud phone system, TotalCloud PBX, including new plan types, a “bring your own device” option and updates to its communicator application for mobile devices. Birch also announced an expansion of its metro-fiber network and enhancements to its MPLS offering.
Vincent M. Oddo, Birch’s President and CEO, delivered the impressive results at the company’s Q2 ‘15 Town Hall meeting last Thursday. Oddo said, “Our Q2 sales results reflect the hard work we have put in to refining our products, services and sales channels to enhance our customer experience. Birch customers are at the forefront of everything we do and our sales success this quarter is indicative of how closely our solutions now align to the needs of the marketplace.”

Prospective customers now have the opportunity to experience Birch’s solutions in a hands-on, local environment. Birch plans to expand the EBC concept to many of its local sales offices across the country in 2015.
