Birch Expands Partner Channel Leadership Team

Company continues to expand resources focused on its extensive partner channel 

Atlanta – July 27, 2015 – Birch Communications, Inc., (“Birch”) a leading technology service provider of IP-based communications, broadband, cloud and IT-services to small, mid-sized, enterprise and wholesale businesses, announced today its expanded focus on its partner channel and newly created roles within its partner channel leadership team to continue the growth in this channel.

Paul Masters has been selected for the newly created role of Vice President of Partner Sales & Solutions and will be focused on building strategic industry partnerships to develop future growth strategies for the channel. In this role, Masters will oversee both the Enterprise and Indirect channels at Birch.  In addition, Brad Smith will serve as the new Vice President of National Partner Development. Smith will be focused on driving the strategy and overall success of the channel through national partners. This role was specifically designed to focus on educating and training partners on the extensive Birch portfolio, with special emphasis on developing programs for the advanced solutions such as TotalCloud PBX, TotalCloud Data Center, TotalCloud File Storage, Metro Ethernet and Fiber as well as MPLS.

Birch has over 1,100 direct partners, through which it reaches more than 8,000 sub-agents. With these key leaders in place, I’m confident we will further accelerate partners’ success and the increased collaboration will better serve customers,” said Christopher Ramsey, Senior Vice President and CSO at Birch.

Its “Partner Summer Tour Series,” held in select professional baseball stadiums across the country, provides an opportunity for top-performing partners across the country to meet Birch regional channel managers and strengthen partnerships. The company’s kick-off events in Dallas, TX and Miami, FL were well attended, proving the event’s mix of delivering product information and a relaxed game day networking atmosphere is a win-win situation for all involved. Upcoming events are scheduled in Atlanta, GA, Denver, CO, Chicago, IL, and Los Angeles, CA.  Smith commented, “Our partners are immensely valuable to our organization.  With these events we are connecting our partners with our sales executives and local managers to show our gratitude and discuss our partner enablement strategy and the overall direction for the channel.”
