Level 3’s Cloud Connect Solutions extend Telx ecosystem and boost connectivity for customers
NEW YORK – (June 10, 2015) – Telx®, a leading provider of global interconnectivity, data center solutions and cloud enablement services, and Level 3 Communications, a premiere global communications provider, have teamed up to expand cloud connectivity for businesses. The benefit of interconnecting the Telx Cloud Xchange with Level 3 Cloud Connect Solutions is twofold: 1) organizations can leverage Level 3’s global network to connect to Telx data centers and members of the Telx Cloud Xchange throughout North America and 2) Telx customers can now access leading cloud services in the Level 3 Cloud Connect Solutions ecosystem worldwide.
Level 3 provides connectivity across 500 markets in more than 60 countries. By coupling its Cloud Connect Solutions portfolio with Telx’s data-rich platform – spanning 20 facilities and 13 markets that enable 10 million square feet of data center space – customers receive secure, private, and scalable network capabilities. In addition, cloud services will be accessible through theinterconnection facilities in Telx’s data centers, giving customers direct access to services by cross or virtual connections.
