ATLANTA, GA — June 1, 2015 — EarthLink Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ:ELNK, news, filings) , a leading managed network, security and cloud solutions provider for multi-location businesses, announced today that EarthLink Channel Chief Sherri Turpin was selected for The Channel Company‘s prestigious 2015 CRN® Women of the Channel list. The annual list honors outstanding female executives across channel organizations, distributors, solution providers and other women prominently involved in the IT channel ecosystem for their successes and the far-reaching impact they have on the technology industry. In addition, Turpin received special recognition as a Channel Up-And-Comer, a designation for rising-star female executives.
This year’s Women of the Channel were carefully reviewed and selected by the editors of CRN based on their accomplishments and the influence they wield over the technology channel.
One of the first women to be appointed leader of a channel organization at a major carrier, Turpin was selected for her recent accomplishments at EarthLink, including launching a highly successful series of Partner Roadshows held throughout the country, and the development of unique marketing programs to reach the Partners best suited to sell multi-site retail and service customers. Turpin was instrumental in conveying EarthLink’s multi-site specific approach and has enabled the company and its Partners to successfully move up-market. Earlier this year, Turpin was also named a 2015 CRN Channel Chief. This “Who’s Who” annual list represents the most powerful leaders in the IT channel who hold direct responsibility for driving indirect channel growth and revenue for their organizations. She also received a 2015 Circle of Excellence Award winner, presented by Channel Partners magazine.
“These executives have made a lasting mark on the industry, expanding the breadth of influence in the technology channel,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and celebrate their innovative contributions and commitment to the IT channel community.”
Sherri Turpin, EarthLink Channel Chief, shared, “I’m grateful to work for a company that is so supportive of women in leadership roles, and see CRN’s recognition as an endorsement of our hard work positioning our Partners and EarthLink for continued success! In 2015, EarthLink is investing in our Partners by helping them leverage the cloud with a new series of intensive, onsite training sessions featuring pitching and positioning, applications and real customer scenarios. We are also launching our IT Services Partner Selling Guide to empower them to speak fluently about cloud products, vet the solution with the customer and guide them through the sales process to ensure a quality proposal.”
The Women of the Channel list is featured in the June issue of CRN and at CRN.com.
