Network Upgrade to Deliver Capacity Increase to Meet Rising Demand for Businesses and Communications in Asia-Pacific Region

Eatontown, NJ, USA – May 6, 2015 —

TE SubCom, a TE Connectivity Ltd. company and an industry pioneer in undersea communications technology, announced today that it has signed a contract to perform another network upgrade to the South-East Asia Japan Cable System (SJC) to be completed by the end of November 2015. Originally implemented in 2013 by a global consortium of telecommunications and technology companies, the SJC Cable System links the seven countries or territories of Brunei, mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the Philippines, including the option to connect with Thailand.
