Global Colocation Solutions Provider CyrusOne to Host Open House for New Northern Virginia Data Center

CyrusOne to celebrate state-of-the-art Sterling, Virginia multi-tenant data center facility on Thursday, May 14.

DALLAS (May 12, 2015) – Global colocation solutions provider CyrusOne (:CONE, news) is hosting an open house celebration for its new data center in Loudoun County, Va. The open house is scheduled for Thursday, May 14, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. The CyrusOne executive team plans to be in attendance, along with executives from the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, members of the Loudoun County Economic Development team, and other local public officials. Fear No Ice, a nationally recognized performance ice sculpting company is also going to be giving a special performance during the event.

CyrusOne brought the first 37,000 square feet of colocation space (CSF) at the data center in Sterling, Va online in January. The initial phase of the 146,000-square-foot building is going to have 16,000 square feet of office space and the capacity for up to 12 megawatts of critical load.

At full build, the 14-acre site is expected to accommodate a shell of approximately 400,000 square feet with up to 240,000 square feet of CSF, 36,000 square feet of Class A office space, and up to 48 megawatts of critical load.
