Award Recognizes Individuals for Making an Exceptional Difference in the Lives of America’s Youth
Randall Stephenson, chairman and CEO of AT&T, will be honored on April 15 with the “Promise of America” award from America’s Promise Alliance for making an exceptional difference in lives of America’s youth. APA’s signature program is the Building a Grad Nation Campaign to mobilize Americans to achieve a 90 percent high school graduation rate by 2020.
In selecting Randall for this honor, America’s Promise singled out his leadership of AT&T Aspire, our $350 million commitment to preparing students for success in school and 21st Century careers. Randall is one of five recipients being honored at a gala event in Washington at the historic Howard Theatre.
