Sprint and Techstars Announce Ten Mobile Health Startups Entering the 2015 Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator

Second annual mobile health accelerator in Kansas City runs March 9 through June 4

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. & BOULDER, Colo. (BUSINESS WIRE), March 09, 2015 – Sprint (NYSE:S, news, filings) and Techstars today announced the 10 teams participating in their second annual mobile health accelerator, located in the Crossroads District of Kansas City, Mo. The program begins today.

The Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator, Powered by Techstars, is a three-month, immersive, mentorship-driven program for startups. The participating companies relocated to Kansas City for the duration of the program to build and strengthen their businesses. Each company receives up to $120,000 in funding.

Companies participating in the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator are developing solutions that encompass hardware, software platforms and mobile applications. The startups have traveled to Kansas City from cities across the U.S., plus Israel and New Zealand.
