Hospital Galenia Expands Its Cisco Medical-Grade Network to the Four Points by Sheraton Cancun Centro Hotel That Will Operate in Its Premises

The Hotel complements Hospital Galenia services offered to the medical tourism market

CANCUN, MEXICO. − 12 March 2015.‑ Hospital Galenia, the only private tertiary care hospital1 in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo opened a Four Points Hotel in their premises, and has chosen Cisco® Unified Communications and Collaboration portfolio for its collaboration needs. The implementation is connected to the Cisco Medical-Grade Network2 that the hospital has already implemented to reinvent health care experience for their customers.

Hospital Galenia has the Joint Commission International certification due to its operation under the highest standards in service and technology in order to fulfill the requirements of the medical tourism market;; the Four Points Hotel complements the services offered to patients and relatives. An interconnected network between the hospital and the hotel allow maintaining a trusted communication network to continue offering high quality medical care when staying at the hotel.

The Hotel has 108 guest rooms and four suites with IP data and voice services, as well as access to Wi-Fi in all areas. It has a business center, gymnasium, swimming pool, beauty parlor, meeting spaces to host up to 220 persons, among other amenities.
