DALLAS, March 17, 2015 — AT&T Services, Inc. (NYSE:T, news, filings) has named Cynthia Marshall, senior vice president-Human Resources, to take on the additional role of Chief Diversity Officer. In this capacity, Marshall will lead the company’s award-winning efforts to foster an inclusive and diverse workforce. Marshall will continue her work providing human resource support for AT&T employees.
“Cynthia has a long history as a proven leader here at AT&T,” said Bill Blase, AT&T senior executive vice president-Human Resources. “Her compassion, enthusiasm and engagement are off the charts, and we are so pleased that she is at the head of our diversity efforts.”
Marshall takes over for Debbie Storey, who was named executive vice president-Mobility Customer Service, AT&T Mobility. Storey will replace Brian Shay, appointed president-Retail Sales and Service, AT&T Mobility. Storey served as senior vice president of Talent Development and Chief Diversity Officer for nearly four years.
Marshall has more than 30 years of telecommunications experience. She joined Pacific Bell in 1981, and was named senior vice president-Human Resources in December 2012. She has held positions in operations, human resources, network engineering and planning, and regulatory/external affairs.
