London – February 26, 2015 – IO, a leading data center services company, today announced the appointment of Nigel Stevens as its Managing Director in the United Kingdom. In this role, he will lead IO’s expansion into Europe with the newest data center coming online this summer.
Stevens is responsible for the overall performance of IO’s business and operations in the United Kingdom. Among his responsibilities, Stevens will increase local and regional market share, profitability and operational efficiency.

Over the course of his 25-year-career, Stevens has held senior management positions in the United Kingdom and United States. Prior to joining IO, Stevens served as chief marketing officer of Infinity SDC Limited where he was responsible for sales and marketing. Stevens also held leadership positions at Global Crossing, Cable & Wireless Worldwide and THUS plc.
