Bill Hooper of XO Communications Recognized as 2015 CRN Channel Chief

HERNDON, Va. – February 26, 2015 – Bill Hooper, vice president of the partner channel at XO Communications(XO), has been named to the prestigious list of the 2015 CRN Channel Chiefs.  The influential executives on the annual list hold direct responsibility for driving growth and revenue for their organizations through their indirect channel partners.  Individuals are selected for inclusion based on their track record of channel accomplishments, standing in the industry, dedication to the partner community, and plans for driving future business innovation and channel growth.

In 2014, under Hooper’s leadership, XO invested heavily in the success of its channel partners by launching an industry-leading portal that provides easy access to the resources and data required to deliver superior service to customers.  The company also introduced additional automation enhancements, including its MasterStream pricing tool, to benefit partners.

XO further strengthened its enhanced, dedicated partner support team of expert professionals who help drive the growth and success of the company’s channel partners.  The support team enables partners to collaborate on sales initiatives, jointly leverage the MasterStream pricing tool, and deliver consistent and reliable quotes, order status and contract renewal support.

“Each year, our editors carefully vet an extensive group of highly accomplished channel executives to highlight those exemplary individuals who earn the mantle of CRN Channel Chief.  These executives strive to advance the success and standing of the channel community within their organizations.  The 2015 CRN Channel Chiefs lead by example and serve as valuable advocates to help ensure the health and longevity of the IT channel.  We applaud their accomplishments and look forward to their continued success,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company.

“Building upon our long history of serving channel partners, XO aims to provide the support our channel partners need to succeed,” said Mindy Powers, senior vice president of enterprise sales at XO Communications.  “Bill continues to leverage his keen vision and leadership expertise to innovate processes and tools that enable our channels to excel.  We are very pleased that The Channel Company has recognized his contribution by including Bill on the esteemed list of 2015 CRN Channel Chiefs.”

The 2015 CRN Channel Chiefs list is featured in the February 2015 issue of CRN, and online at www.CRN.com.
