INVOIP Deploys BroadCloud to Introduce Feature-Rich, Affordable Hosted Unified Communications Services
GAITHERSBURG, MD–(Marketwired – Jan 8, 2015) – BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:BSFT, news, filings) today announced that INVOIP, a leading nationwide hosted unified communications service provider based in Troy, Michigan, has selected BroadCloud®managed services to power INVOIP Connect, a service that extends beyond standard hosted PBX capabilities to include a range of hosted Unified Communications (UC) services such as video calling and conferencing, mobility, and unified messaging.
According to an August 2014 Infonetics report, the global hosted PBX and UC services market is expected to grow from $8.5B in 2014 to $12.3B by 2018. The rapid adoption of these hosted services has created the need for service providers to explore faster service delivery models to meet customer demand for unified communications services without the associated capital, lease or maintenance costs of a premise-based telephony system.
INVOIP selected BroadCloud for in-demand UC capabilities that can be rapidly delivered to their business customers, speeding time to new service revenues. As a fully-managed hosted service, BroadCloud delivers comprehensive Unified Communications and PBX services from BroadSoft’s cloud infrastructure — while covering the full business customer lifecycle, from initial quote to service activation to support.
“BroadCloud gives INVOIP an accelerated route to market with minimal up front capital investment, all while allowing us to leverage our brand and core network services,” said Ben Rife, President, INVOIP. “Equally important, BroadCloud enables customizable delivery of hosted unified communications services allowing us to differentiate our offer from competitors and improve our value proposition.”
“We are thrilled to support INVOIP’s vision to provide small and medium-sized businesses with innovative, cloud-delivered unified communication services,” said Ken Rokoff, vice president, BroadCloud, BroadSoft. “With its powerful UC capabilities and fully operationalized end-to-end business processes, BroadCloud enables service providers like INVOIP to create a differentiated service offer that meets the needs of their business customers.”
