An accomplished industry veteran, Mr. LaPerch brings to Global Capacity’s Board over 30 years of executive and Board leadership experience in the telecommunications and technology industry. Mr. LaPerch is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of AboveNet Communications, Inc., where he successfully transformed the company into a profitable and recognized leader in optical connectivity solutions for Fortune 1,000 companies. Mr. LaPerch currently serves on the Boards of Windstream Communications, Digital Realty Trust, Inc. and Imation Corp. He also serves as an advisor to FirstLight Fiber and Cross River Fiber, both privately held companies. A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Mr. LaPerch also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University.
