Highly anticipated Lumia 635 with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system now available for Sprint customers

Great news – the wait is over! Beginning today, Sprint customers can get the popular Window Phone 8.1 smartphone, Lumia 635, in a striking cyan blue color. When this powerful smartphone became available to Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile USA customers at the end of 2014, it became the first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone to launch on Sprint’s network.

Lumia 635 is feature-rich yet affordable. It is now in all Sprint retail channels including Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Web Sales and Telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1. With Sprint Easy PaySM, well-qualified buyers can purchase Lumia 635 with $0 down (plus tax) and 24 monthly payments of $7 (SRP: $168; excluding taxes; service plan required).

Sprint offers customers the Best Value in Wireless. With the Cut Your Bill Event, Sprint will cut in half the monthly rate plan for Verizon and AT&T customers who switch to Sprint. The new offer provides unlimited talk and text to anywhere in the U.S. while on the Sprint network – regardless of a customer’s current plan – and matches the customer’s data allowance for half the cost they are currently paying for their monthly rate plan.1 Sprint also offers Lumia 635 customers unlimited talk, text and data while on the Sprint network for $60 per month with the Sprint $60 Unlimited Plan.

Lumia 635 is a powerful device for the smart shopper looking for something new. Cortana, your personal digital assistant, helps manage daily tasks and can set reminders based on time, location and people – so you know if traffic is backed up before your appointment across town. The nimble Windows Phone 8.1 operating system combined with a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 1.2GHz quad-core processor and enhanced LTE access (where available) make for fast browsing and multitasking capabilities on the Sprint 4G LTE network, currently serving 540 cities.

The Windows Phone home screen provides a smooth overview of your life, keeping all emails, upcoming appointments, websites and contacts front and center. Windows Phone 8.1 offers a revamped notification system, people can set up custom shortcuts within the Action Center for everything from Bluetooth to music to the camera, and certain alerts can easily be previewed without opening the app in question. Familiar Microsoft services are also available, including Office, Skype and OneDrive.
