Boulder, Colo. – December 10, 2014 – Zayo Group Holdings Inc. (NYSE:ZAYO), a global provider of Bandwidth Infrastructure services, today announced it has been awarded a Schedule 70 IT contract (#GS-35F-070CA) by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). The contract adds Zayo to the GSA’s pre-approved list of information technology vendors, enabling Zayo to work directly with government agencies on solutions to support their data communications and Bandwidth Infrastructure needs.
Zayo delivers lit services including Ethernet, IP, and wavelengths, and physical infrastructure including dark fiber, and mobile infrastructure in more than 300 markets throughout the U.S. and Europe. Its extensive fiber-optic network spans more than 81,000 route miles, and connects to more than 16,000 buildings worldwide. The GSA Schedule 70 is designed to simplify the procurement process for government agencies and enable them to obtain IT products and services more quickly and easily. In addition to simplifying process, the contract provides federal, state, and local government agencies access to Zayo’s service offerings at a reduced cost.
