TSIC wins Best Brand Campaign 2014, and redefines the meaning of customer focus in the carrier industry

At the 2014 Global Capacity Awards, TeliaSonera International Carrier (TSIC) was recognized for raising the profile of wholesale telecommunications and highlighting the expectations of end users who demand always-on connectivity.

Presented by celebrity explorer and writer Ben Fogle, the accolade was received on behalf of TeliaSonera International Carrier by CEO Brendan Ives.

The campaign supported the expansion of TSIC’s North American fiber backbone. It was an integrated brand campaign across both traditional and new media B2B channels. A core element was the short film, “A message from your future end users”

The Global Capacity Awards are judged annually by a panel of leading analysts and commentators including ACM Atlantic, Capacity Media, Dyn, Light Reading, Strategy Analytics and Telecoms Ramblings. With awards covering the wholesale telecommunications and carrier-to-carrier business, TSIC was also a finalist in the Best Global Wholesale category. Winners are recognized in Capacity magazine which has 4000 subscribers in 125 countries as well as at Capacity Conferences and International Telecoms Week (ITW).
