Interoute recognised for excellence in the European wholesale market
London, 10th November 2014 – Interoute, owner operator of Europe’s largest cloud services platform, has once again been named Best Pan-European Wholesale Provider at the 2014 Capacity Global Carrier Awards. Interoute received the award at the Capacity Awards in Amsterdam on the 4th November, where the company was commended for the growth of its product portfolio and continued network expansion.
This is the sixth time Interoute has topped the category since the awards began, having won Best Pan-European Wholesale provider consecutively from 2006 to 2009 and then again in 2012.
Interoute impressed the judges with its continued investment in its network infrastructure, commitment to adding innovative technologies to meet the ever-increasing demand for new capacity, and development of its wholesale proposition for OTT providers, ISPs and global telecoms providers. Over the past year Interoute has invested heavily in its network, by widely deploying a 100G platform across its footprint, building two new data centres in London and Madrid while expanding its data centre hosting capacity in Paris and Amsterdam. The company has also recently acquired Vtesse in the UK.
