(28 November 2014 － Hong Kong) － Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited (“Comba Telecom” or the “Group”, Hong Kong stock code: 2342), a global leading wireless solutions provider, has recently noted certain press articles on the Internet (the “Articles”). Pursuant to the Articles, a former manager of one Guangdong telecom company was charged by the PRC authority for bribery and court trial has commenced for the case. A former employee of the Group (the “Former Employee”) was claimed to have offered bribes of a total sum of approximately RMB1.5 million to that manager pursuant to the Articles.
Comba Telecom would like to clarify that as at the date of this press release, the Former Employee had resigned and is no longer an employee of the Group. The Group has never given instructions to any of its employees, including but not limited to the Former Employee, to offer any illegal bribes. As at the date of this press release, the daily business operations of the Group remain normal and are conducted in usual and ordinary manner.
