Providing metro cloud connectivity solutions to the top cloud and service providers around the globe, BTI recently announced key customer wins with data center provider, CyrusOne; colocation provider, Interxion; and Asia-Pacific-basedintegrated technology solutions provider, Pacnet. As part of its ongoing commitment to deliver purpose-built metro cloud platforms unifying packet and optical service delivery, BTI also announced today that the company has joined the CloudEthernet Forum. The global industry alliance associated with the MEF is widely respected for its leadership role in addressing the need for scaling and enhancing Ethernet technology to meet the stringent demands of delivering cloud services.
Today’s announcements were made at MEF GEN14, the global gathering of the CE community defining the future of network-enabled cloud, data and mobile services powered by the convergence of CE 2.0, software-defined networking (SDN) and virtualization technologies.
