(TSE: 6501) today announced an agreement with Equinix, Inc.(NASDAQ: EQIX), the global interconnection and data center company, to provide enterprises with a Hitachi Cloud — Compute as a Service solution that delivers managed private cloud services inside Equinix International Business Exchange™ (IBX®) data centers.

Working with HDS, enterprises are able to combine the platforms, software and managed solutions required to create a private cloud infrastructure that is scalable, cost effective and high performance to meet the demands of today’s business environment.
