Third generation Sprint Phone Connect lets you connect, answer mobile phone calls with home phone

Sprint is making it easier than ever to cut the cord on costly traditional landline phone service.

Sprint Phone Connect 3 is a fixed wireless voice terminal that uses Bluetooth® to connect up to two mobile phones and allow inbound cell phone calls to ring on their home or office phone handset simultaneously along with the cell phone. This gives you the ability to answer the closest handset to them instead of having to rush across the home to find their cell phone when it rings.

Available Friday, Sept. 19, in all Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Web Sales and Telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1, Sprint Phone Connect 3 offers homeowners an opportunity to save over expensive traditional phone service and eliminates installation charges. There is no need to schedule an appointment to setup and disconnect service.

With Sprint Easy PaySM, well-qualified buyers can purchase Sprint Phone Connect 3 with $0 down (plus tax) and 24 monthly payments of $6.25 (SRP: $149.99; excluding taxes) with a service plan. When bundled with the Sprint Phone Connect plan, customers get unlimited local and domestic long-distance calling while on the Sprint network for $19.99 per month (excluding taxes and surcharges).

Easy Pay customers can also get up to $150 in service plan credits when you activate on a Sprint Phone Connect plan. That’s a savings of $6.25 per month off your service plan for up to 24 months (credit may take up to three months to be applied). After the service credit is applied the monthly service plan price is only $13.74 per month for 24 months.

Simply plug your existing office or home landline phone into the Sprint Phone Connect 3 terminal and use the features you are accustomed to from a landline phone provider, including call waiting, call forwarding (charges may apply), three-way calling, caller ID (number only) and voicemail. It is compatible with most conventional corded and cordless phones (Sprint Phone Connect 3 is not compatible with IP based or PBX office phone systems).

Businesses, home offices or small offices can also save on expensive monthly fees for their landline phone service. Additionally, businesses with frequent moves, including temporary office locations for construction, retail operations or events companies will appreciate the simple self-installation and easy plug-and-play redeployment instead of waiting for traditional wireline installation.

Sprint Phone Connect 3 also features a color display for easy setup and a rechargeable 1,500 Nickel-metal hydride battery backup for power outages.

You also have the option of maintaining your existing home or office phone number or activating a new one. More information on porting, including eligibility, can be found at www.sprint.com/bringyournumber.
