City Network extends its presence with Interxion in London and Frankfurt to further support the growth of City Cloud
STOCKHOLM, 23 September 2014 – INTERXION HOLDING NV (NYSE:INXN, news), a leading European provider of cloud and carrier-neutral colocation data centre services and City Network, a leading supplier of managed and cloud hosting services, today announced that City Network has extended its colocation data centre presence with Interxion in London and Frankfurt to further support the growth of City Cloud, its secure, scalable and redundant infrastructure service.
City Network’s portfolio of hosting, infrastructure and associated services are relied on by customers ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. With multiple locations in Europe, their cloud service, City Cloud, is one of Europe’s leading Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings.
Neutrality and a focus on quality were deciding factors for City Network in selecting Interxion’s European colocation facilities. “Building and operating data centres to consistently high standards in multiple locations is far from easy, but Interxion excels at this. Interxion helps ensure that when a customer sets up a new server using the City Cloud web interface, they can specify where that server is, and guarantee that’s where the data will stay.
