The Gouging of Businesses from Wireless Companies Ends Today!

With an industry-leading rate card, Sprint delivers the best deal in data for businesses with lower prices

Affordable and aggressive, Sprint Business Share Plans provide data pricing that is up to 56 percent less than data offerings from Verizon and AT&T

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), September 15, 2014 – After a 30-day barrage of Best-Value-in-Wireless offers for consumers, Sprint (NYSE:S, news, filings) continues to aggressively deliver more data for less than Verizon and AT&T with the introduction of Sprint Business Share Plans, which could yield thousands of dollars in savings for business customers.

The affordable new pricing plans challenge the high cost of doing business with wireless companies by offering huge amounts of data and savings – with data pricing that is up to 56 percent less than comparable plans offered by the competition.

How It Works

Business decision-makers looking to obtain a smartphone or any device have two choices for their plan; discounted and undiscounted (available in select channels) devices. After selecting their device with its associated monthly access charge for unlimited talk and text, they choose a bountiful bucket of data that is best suited to their needs. Full details of the Sprint Business Share Plans with competitive comparisons can be found at www.sprint.com/businessshare. All prices exclude taxes and fees.

“Under its new CEO, Sprint has committed itself to offering highly competitive plans for consumers,” said Mark Lowenstein, Managing Director, Mobile Ecosystem. “This new business offering goes a long way toward expanding on those recent offensive moves with an understanding that business customers who pay less for their wireless service can free resources for additional business mobility solutions that increase employee productivity and effectiveness.”

Additional Incentives for Business Customers

In addition, Sprint Business is helping businesses save even more money by offering additional value.

Through Oct. 31, business customers can take advantage of unprecedented promotions of at least $300 in credits for switching to Sprint. Businesses receive this credit when porting a line to Sprint to earn a $150 credit plus a minimum trade-in value of $150 for the buyback of a customer’s competitive device toward the purchase of any new smartphone.

“We came, we saw and we conquered the demons in the market that are gouging businesses with their higher price plans,” said Matt Carter, president-Sprint Business. “Not only do the Sprint Business Data Share Plans allow businesses to save money and get the best value, we are also making it easy and affordable for businesses to empower their employees with the technology, accessibility and freedom to do their jobs as creatively and efficiently as possible.”

Customers wanting worry-free data use can select the Sprint Business Fusion Unlimited plan at $65 for a discounted phone ($45 for an undiscounted smartphone), with unlimited talk, text and data. Sprint will also extend the port-in credit along with best-in-class buyback offer with this and other eligible plans.

America’s Newest Network

Sprint already has built its 4G LTE network to serve more than 255 million people, with more on the way, making it easy for customers to take advantage of all the great features on smartphones.

In addition to Sprint’s all-new 3G network and its 4G LTE network, Sprint is deploying Sprint Spark, a technology designed to greatly improve the performance of video and other bandwidth-intensive applications, including new generations of online gaming, virtual reality and advanced cloud services. It enables stutter-free video chat on-the-go and mobile gaming that leaves lag behind. Sprint Spark is an enhanced LTE service that’s built for data and designed to deliver average wireless speeds of 6-15Mbps and peak wireless speeds of 50-60Mbps today on capable devices, with increasing speed potential over time. Sprint plans to reach 100 million Americans by year-end with the service.
