IINET TEAMS WITH BULLETIN TO INTRODUCE INNOVATIVE MOBILE MESSAGING SERVICE FOR BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

Parallels Automation Partners and Their Customers Capitalize on A2P SMS and OTT Messaging Enabled by Bulletin Messenger

SAN DIEGO, CA, USA – August 12, 2014

BulletinBulletin, a leading provider of cloud-based mobile messaging Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and iiNet, Australia’s second-largest DSL ISP, today announced a new partnership to provide Bulletin Messenger, a cutting-edge mobile messaging service, to iiNet’s Home and Small Office, Medium Business as well as Corporate and Government customers.

iiNet leverages Parallels Automation to enable business functions and back-end operations.  The service delivery platform’s built-in support for APS allows for the integration of the Bulletin Messenger suite into iiNet’s cloud delivery systems.  Bulletin Messenger enables iiNet Business customers to send text messages from the web, email, or any mobile device; maintain online address books; schedule bulk messages to contacts or groups; have full control over reporting and administration tasks; and view complete conversations with threaded messaging using Bulletin’s or their own email client.

“iiNet is committed to providing our customers with the most cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet their business needs,” says Greg Bader, iiNet Chief Business Officer.  “Through the help of Bulletin’s Messenger suite and Parallels, we can easily provide our customers the ability to experience cutting-edge mobile messaging technology and instantly communicate with customers using SMS, email or chat.”

“Application-to-mobile messaging has experienced exponential growth as businesses realize its overwhelming potential for simple, affordable and efficient communication capabilities.  Recent research indicates that approximately 25% of total text messages will either originate from or terminate at application servers by the end of 2017,” explains Bruce Herbert, President and COO of Bulletin.  “With Bulletin Messenger, iiNet and its customers can now seamlessly capitalize on the flexibility, simplicity and profitability of A2P SMS messaging.”

“Through our Parallels Automation platform and next-generation APS technology, Parallels is dedicated to enhancing the experience for business customers in today’s ever-evolving and growing mobile market,” comments Pavel Ershov, Vice President, Service Provider Business, Parallels Asia Pacific.  “As such, Parallels is pleased to partner with Bulletin and iiNet to eliminate the obstacles surrounding dynamic, world-class service delivery by quickly and efficiently bringing Bulletin Messenger to iiNet customers.”
