Atlanta, Ga. – July 30, 2014 – Birch Communications, Inc., a leading provider of IP-based communications, cloud and managed services to the business community announced today that it has completed its previously announced sales acquisition agreement to acquire substantially all of the wireline customer assets of Selectel Communications Inc., a regional communications provider based in Nebraska.

This transaction allows Birch to further its dual strategy to increase customer density and expand the footprint of its state-of-the-art, IP-based network through both “tuck-in” acquisitions and organic growth.
