ADVA Optical Networking announced today that Noel Communications has deployed its ADVA FSP 3000 and ADVA FSP 150 to advance rural connectivity throughout Washington. Noel Communications specifically chose ADVA Optical Networking’s optical transport equipment and Ethernet access and aggregation devices for their rapid scalability and ease of use. This technology will prove critical as Noel Communications continues to respond to fierce bandwidth growth from its diverse range of enterprise customers. The strategic partnership between Noel Communications and ADVA Optical Networking also includes maintenance and training services.
“Trust is a key part of our company, a key part of our team. It underscores everything we do. This is something that our customers depend upon,” said Nick Guy, director, Networking, Noel Communications. “It’s this focus on trust that explains why we’re working with ADVA Optical Networking. We need to be able to trust their team and their technology with our customers’ mission-critical data. There can be no missed steps here. Thankfully this is something we don’t need to worry about. ADVA Optical Networking’s team has an innate understanding of networks. They understand what’s important to us, what’s important to our customers. The value they bring here is incredible.”
To ensure Noel Communications is able to rapidly respond to customer demands, ADVA Optical Networking’s team provided extensive practical training. Held in Noel Communications Yakima headquarters, these training sessions are proving key in helping the company’s engineers to maximize network performance. The close working relationship between the two companies will be vital as Noel Communications continues to expand its network. With a footprint that already stretches across America’s northwest, Noel Communications is intent on driving rural connectivity to new heights and providing its enterprise customers with the bandwidth they need to remain competitive.
“One of the most exciting challenges for our team is working side-by-side with our customers. Working almost as one team to achieve shared goals,” commented John Scherzinger, senior vice president, North America Sales, ADVA Optical Networking. “This is what defines our relationship with Noel Communications. Over the past several months, our teams have worked together to take rural connectivity in Washington to new levels. The impact upon Noel Communications’ customers will be immense.
