July 24, 2014 – Rochester, NY

Fibertech Networks, one of the fastest growing fiber optic broadband providers in the Northeast, today announced its participation in the Wells Fargo 2014 Small Cell Symposium hosted on July 24. Michael C. Hurley, VP Sales and Marketing for Fibertech, will speak on a panel titled: “Small Cell Backhaul: Opportunities and Challenges.”

Earlier this year Fibertech announced it activated what is believed to be the first outdoor metro small cell site in the nation for a wireless carrier carrying commercial traffic, with a complete turn-key fiber solution.

“There has been a tremendous amount of press about small cell, and the potential explosion of wireless carrier’s deployment of this technology, and we are pleased to be participating in this panel,” commented Hurley.
