Unite Private Networks Builds New Fiber-Optic Network in Grand Island

Ribbon Cutting set for Friday, June 27

Grand Island, NE (June 25, 2014) – Unite Private Networks (UPN) announced today it recently completed a new high speed fiber-optic network in Grand Island, NE.

“The city-wide network will extend throughout the community providing a 10 gigabit connection to 19 school facilities. In addition, College Park and area businesses will be able to take advantage of Internet capacity up to 100 gigabit,” said Stuart Howerter, Vice President of Sales at UPN.

“Our suite of products includes Ethernet services from 10 Mbps to 100 Gbps, wavelength services, Internet access, dark fiber, and other customized solutions,” said Jason W. Adkins, UPN Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We are excited to be in the Grand Island community and are looking forward to helping area businesses and government entities with their communication needs.”

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Friday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m., at the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce, located at 309 W 2nd St, Grand Island, NE 68801.
