MarketplacePORTAL was launched in 2012 to provide businesses with a single solution to not only monitor operations but also to drive new business across Telx’s customer-base. Featuring virtual storefronts for over 900 customers and partners, MarketplacePORTAL is the only site in the multi-tenant data center industry that provides an interactive, public facing customer list at this scale. Today, companies can build tailored profiles to network and connect with other businesses and send and receive product quotes, a feature previously accessible only behind a login ID and password.
The announcement comes on the eve of Telx MarketplaceLIVE East, taking place June 5 in New York City, which attracts a global community of companies and thought leaders in a range of areas including cloud computing, financial services, telecommunications and media. The full-day conference acts as an ‘in-person’ extension of the MarketplacePORTAL and will feature keynotes from Douglas Merrill, Co-Founder/CEO of ZestFinance.com and Google’s Former Chief Information Officer, as well as David Pogue, Founder of YahooTech.com and Host of NOVA ScienceNow. Additionally, more than 70 high-profile tech exhibitors and four panel discussions will round out the experience for its attendees.

For logged in users, matchmaking alerts are provided including a LIVE tool for creating meetings and sending messages for Telx’s MarketplaceLIVE biannual events.
